Under Section 17 of the Condominium Act (the “Act”), a condominium corporation has a statutory duty to administer the common elements and to manage the property on behalf of the owners, and the Board of Directors is elected by the owners to manage these affairs in their best interests, pursuant to Sections 27 and 28 of the Act. From a security perspective, this seems like a wise decision.
